about

This is a song about the vibrant life all around us.
Australia has a wonderfully rich nature life, fauna and flora, with beautiful and contrasting colours, I've tried to put it all in the song.

lyrics

Vibrant Land
I am the property of no one
I am the ownership of all
I am the land of colour
The trees that grow tall

I am the lonesome running wire
I am the glimmer on the plain
I am the blazing fire
Both in loss and in gain

I want to tell you that you’re needed
For your part in this gracious plan
It’s the spirit that’s within you
That makes this a vibrant land
I want to hold you in my arms
And raise your spirit high
Talk to the world around you
And let the time go by

I am the bush in all it’s glory
As the kangaroo stops to glance
The watching of the fire
The ancient sacred dance

I want to tell you that you’re needed
For your part in this gracious plan
It’s the spirit that’s within you
That makes this a vibrant land
I want to hold you in my arms
And raise your spirit high
Talk to the world around you
And let the time go by
